1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Monaady, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Minors may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Platform Role

Monaady is a technology platform that connects buyers and sellers. Monaady is not a party to any transaction, does not guarantee the quality or legality of listings, and does not handle payments between users.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and current information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, TOTP authenticator app, and recovery codes.
  • Phone verification via authenticator-app TOTP is required to post listings or contact sellers.
  • Monaady may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Listings and Content

Users may post listings of items they legally own or are authorized to sell. All listings must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading.
  • Include truthful pricing and item condition.
  • Not infringe on third-party rights.

Monaady reserves the right to remove any listing without notice.

6. Prohibited Items and Conduct

See PROHIBITED_ITEMS.md for the full list. Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.

7. In-Person Transactions

Monaady is not responsible for meetings, deliveries, payments, or disputes between users. Users are encouraged to:

  • Meet in public places.
  • Inspect items before payment.
  • Avoid sending money before receiving goods.

8. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must reflect genuine transactions. Fake, abusive, or defamatory reviews are prohibited.

9. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they post. By posting on Monaady, you grant Monaady a non-exclusive license to display that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monaady is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or any transaction between users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oman.

12. Changes to Terms

Monaady may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
